Mark your calendars for the 2011 Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine, September 29 – October 2!
Tickets go on sale Monday, June 20 (Got an AMEX? Nab your tickets early with presale access on June 6) and the new website with all event information goes live at the end of May.
100% of the net proceeds from the NYCWFF benefit the Food Bank For New York City, fighting hunger in the five boroughs; and Share Our Strength®, a national nonprofit working to end childhood hunger in America. In 2010, the Festival raised more than $1.2 million for these charities, helping them better provide for those they serve and closing the gap on hunger in our country.
Now in its fourth year, the NYCWFF continues to take New York City to new culinary heights with no shortage of events to satisfy everyone's tastes. Enjoy some of your returning favorites like:

LUCKYRICE Festival comes back to New York City from May 2-8, 2011. An annual week of festivities, the LUCKYRICE Festival shines a spotlight on Asian culinary culture through 8 auspicious events including the Grand Feast, Night Market, Opening Cocktails, Talk + Taste and other tastings, dinners and gastronomic gatherings. Participants include members from LUCKYRICE Culinary Council such as Daniel Boulud, Susur Lee, Masaharu Morimoto, Eric Ripert, David Chang, Anita Lo, Pichet Ong and many more!

The Manhattan Cocktail Classic, May 13-17, 2011
Part festival, part fête, part conference, part cocktail party - the Manhattan Cocktail Classic is an annual celebration of the myriad points of intersection between cocktails and culture. With nearly one hundred events spread across five days and three boroughs, the Manhattan Cocktail Classic offers a vast array of unique experiences to enthusiasts and professionals alike, expanding the very definition of what constitutes a "cocktail event."
The 2011 Classic hits New York City on Friday, May 13th, kicking off the festival in epic fashion with the opening night Gala at The New York Public Library. The rest of the events (taking place Saturday through Tuesday) run the gamut from purely educational to raucously hedonistic, with a bit of something for everyone in between. From sunset cocktail cruises to awesome 80's parties; rooftop soirées to decadent boozy brunches; seminars, workshops, dinners, and dances; bus tours, burlesque, competitions, and croquet. All events are individually ticketed via the website at www.manhattancocktailclassic.com. (After this, the city that never sleeps might just need a nap.)
