Pierre Moreira is Vice President of Sales for New York and Key Accounts at D'Artagnan. Pierre was born into a food-loving family in Revel, a small village in Southwest France, about 30 miles south of Toulouse. He began his career in food at just 11 years old working in Revel's famous Farmer's Market. The grand Marché takes over the center of town every weekend and is practically bursting at the seams with fresh fruits and vegetables, cheeses, eggs and dairy, meats, fish and shellfish, live poultry, artisan breads and of course, every kind of charcuterie imaginable. His 10 years at the market provided Pierre with a strong foundation of culinary knowledge and hands-on experience. After working his way up to management at French food company, Gerblé, Pierre moved to New York and joined the D'Artagnan team in 1999. He has spent the last 12 years cultivating strong personal relationships with some of the country's best chefs, a distinction that has helped him become D'Artagnan's top salesman and in 2010, Vice President.
