David Bouley, the James Beard Award-Winning Chef and culinary innovator for over 25 years, welcomes Functional Medicine specialist Dr. Mark Hyman for an exclusively intimate dinner at the Bouley Test Kitchen, a cook’s quarters with no boundaries. Dr. Hyman has landed on the New York Times best-selling list six-times including his latest work, The Blood Sugar Solution Cookbook: More Than 175 Ultra Tasty Recipes for Total Health and Weight Loss. He is currently Medical Contributor on the Katie Couric Show, medical editor at the Huffington Post, on the Medical Advisory Board at The Doctor Oz Show, and both he and Chef Bouley share in the belief of the power of food as medicine. A recent article "Haute Health Food" in February 2013 Town & Country Magazine showcased how Chef Bouley focuses on serving food that is as "nutritious as it is delicious." This interactive evening will showcase how one can really "eat to live." Chef Bouley and his team will prepare recipes from Dr. Hyman's book, and Bouley's own exquisite creations. Be prepared for an evening that is one part knowledge-building and one part edible euphoria. Each couple will take home a copy of Dr. Hyman's book, The Blood Sugar Solution Cookbook: More than 175 Ultra-Tasty Recipes for Total Health and Weight Loss (Little Brown and Company, February 2013).
