Hallelujah! Join Food Network’s Paula Deen as she invites some of her favorite NYC chefs to create and serve a few of her favorite comfort food dishes for this buffet-style sit-down brunch at Pier 61/The Lighthouse, a sophisticated urban loft space with sweeping views of the Hudson River. Deen will be accompanied by sons Bobby and Jamie and husband Michael as they share creations from her recently released cookbook Paula Deen's New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up (Ballantine Books October 2013) inspired by the journey she took to be healthier. Gospel Singers from The Mama Foundation’s Gospel for Teens program will provide the joyful noise for this soulful afternoon.
