Chef Vanessa Miller comes to the Dalloway from Noche, a sophisticated Spanish bistro in the South End of Boston, where she held the position of Executive Chef. She has worked in restaurants since she was 16, starting first in the front of the house, and eventually making the switch to the back of the house. With no formal culinary training, Miller quickly climbed through the ranks of the kitchen, proving her culinary talent, leadership, and ability to write and execute sophisticated and creative menus. At the age of 23, through a combination of hard work, discipline and attention to detail, she became Boston’s youngest Executive Chef. At The Dalloway, Miller plans to put an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients in crafting creative and playful dishes. She hopes to take familiar products and flavor combinations, and present them to diners in a unique and unfamiliar way.
