MICHAEL TOSCANO, executive chef and partner at Perla, is widely recognized in New York for his seasonal and authentic approach to Italian food. He honed his skills at Babbo, and Manzo, before taking the helm at Perla, where this year, he received a nod from Esquire, and the New York Times (2 stars). He is a James Beard Semi-finalist, a Starchefs Rising Star Chef, and part of this year's Zagat 30 Under 30. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Caitlyn, and son Julian.
